Game day is always an exciting time for Rubber City Underground. Whether it’s a family-friendly tailgate in the parking lot, a get-together at a local watering hole, or gathering early in the Airdock, we like to start the day with some pre-game festivities. When game time approaches we move the party into the Green Street Stadium (on the campus of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School) to cheer on the team!
Hangar 1
The RCU’s main location in the stadium is commonly known as “Hangar 1”. We stake our claim to the first (north) section of seating as you enter the stadium. Many members choose to stand at the railing for the entire game, while others prefer to take seats in the section. Everyone is welcome in Hangar 1, but be warned – we’re loud, rowdy, and 100% supportive of ACFC!
The Airdock
The “Airdock” is the original home of RCU. Located in the north end zone, above the goal, it’s a great place to watch the action, harass the opposing team (all in good fun), and support the boys in blue. You’ll find RCU members parked in the Airdock each game.
Please note that the Airdock is standing-room only. If you want to bring a portable chair you may (subject to the rules of ACFC and STVM). If you want to sit in the stands, you may join us in Hangar 1!
Wherever you choose to sit in the stadium, you’re still a supporter. Listen for the call-and-response chants and make your voices heard!!
